4.Is ROG Phone 5 better than ROG Phone 3?

From the outside ROG Phone 5 is almost the same as ROG Phone 3 but from inside, there are small changes like the processor is 1 gen older, more 5G band support, few improvements in performance, same camera module but optimized, 65W fast charging instead of 65W, better cooling system and air triggers, etc. A problem that last years users faced is due to the 144Hz refresh rate the colour shifting of the display isn’t smooth and it still exists with ROG Phone 5. Other than these there is no difference between both of the phones.

5.Is ROG phone 3 way too old?

No, Since it came with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ Processor, it is a year old processor but not too old sice the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 gives almost same performance as the 865+ and it is a well optimized stable processor too in short its just a number game. Cameras, display, connectivity and Batteries are also same as last gen’s. To conclude, The ROG Phone 3 is a year old but it is still a better performer than many othe gaming smartphones in the market and keeping that Rs.8000/- in mind, It is still a better option.

6.Are the phones worth their price?

ROG has a better brand value than many other gaming smartphone manufacturers as ROG is an old player so they tend to charge a little bit more than new Chinese brands. So, Yes they are a little costly provided the features they are providing but the performance is way better than other so-called gaming smartphones by Chinese sub-Brands. If you think about it like this then the price really justifies the phones. Not only gamers but they can also be used for professional video editing and other tasks which demands more CPU power than normal uses.
